I have always thought that this site sucks. Confirmation is always good though. The few stories you write are pathetic at best. Everyong can have an opinion, but yours always sucks.

I'll never visit this site again. You should just shut it down. Legitmate blogs should really think about taking down any links or apparent affiliation with this lethargic crap factory.

My best advice would be to stick to the links to satrad stories and scrap the attemped journalism.

TJ - People type into the address bar, and some people might even type in Sirisu. Sirius and XM don't even own SatelliteRadio.com. I just don't think these companies understand Internet traffic. Internet traffic that they could push to their Internet Radio Service.

Brad - If this merger gets approved, Mel can be given all the credit. But besides that what has he really done for Sirius. NASCAR? Stilleto? Not much in my opinion.... And the Stern contract was in place before he was hired by Sirius.

This site sucks? I AGREE.

no one is going to hire someone who doesnt believe in the importace of the industry.

By the way buying typo domains is really not a good use of funds unless you are a spammer.

Most people use a search engines or favorites to get to the sites they want.

no offence but your opinions are uninformed and slightly annoying to me and probably a lot of other people who are satellite customers and investors.

you sound like a fake blogger, like someone hired by the fcc to be a hater under the guise of being a satellite customer.

Dude are you serious? Mel is the driving force behind Sirius's success.

This post is seriously one of the worst opinions I have seen.

Are you even a Sirius subscriber?

This statement is WAY off:
"because they are becoming more and more like boring terrestrial radio"

Damien from the long defunct GetSiriusInfo blog detailed how he used a Plug-n-Play Sirius radio on transcontinental flights. He built a battery pack for the radio and put an indoor/outdoor antenna in the window on the correct side of the plane (requesting his seat accordingly) and claimed to get great reception.

Ahhhhh the smell of negativity from a fan that still listens 24/7 but manages to piss all over everything.

It was widely known from the beginning that Stern's contract was for 5 yrs and whather he was going to extend it was unknown.

I'm not the least bit "turned-off" by the show or Stern and I have been a listener since '86. I personally think the show is better then ever, and if he retires when his contract is up, good for him. He's certainly earned it.

By the way, remember, all this pissing and moaning you're doing cuase it seems like you feel you've been duped?..... cancel if you're unhappy. It's just that simple. Tool.

Howard's show has steadily gone downhill in the last six months. He interrupts staff and guests to let them know he's in a hurry to leave, changes topics when he's distracted, and has somehow managed to now take 13 weeks of vacation a year on his already-shortened four-day work week.

Sirius roped-in Stern fans on the premise of an uncensored, new-and-improved 'old show,' minus the commercials of FM radio; that lasted all of six months. Breaks for ads typically occur every hour and now last and average of 9 minutes.

That, along with Howard's recent negativity, has turned-off all but the biggest @ss-kissing fans. Stern will soon leave and has every right to leave - but that should have been announced from the beginning.
